Project Management

Due to Prime Advocates extensive project and financial transaction experience, we are able to co-ordinate service providers and resources to ensure efficiency of operation and increase the likelihood that deliverables are met. We add value to Social Finance transactions by avoiding many of the common mistakes that affect liability management and financial transaction management. Through clarity of deliverables from the project’s initiation to completion, experience and good communication Prime Advocates add value.


Fee Arrangements and Pro Bono 

Prime Advocates is uniquely placed to leverage of its expertise and contacts to assist in the sourcing of appropriate legal counsel on a pro bono or a retained fee basis.

Fee arrangement

Prime Advocates, due to it close connections with numerous partners at leading law firms, consultancies and other financial services service provider is able to assist client/ partner ventures to obtain commercial (and often preferential) fee rates.

We offer a comprehensive legal project management and fee management services to ensure that Social Finance ventures are able to best manage fee resources efficiently.

We have expert experience of co-ordinating successful “beauty-parades” of suitable legal firms and fostering effective and lasting legal counsel relationships.

Pro Bono

To the extent possible, Prime Advocates shall endeavour to apply “pro bono” legal expertise. Prime Advocates has a deep and extensive contact base with leading legal international legal firms and financial services firms. Our contact/ support base (which includes a collective of support consultants, lawyers and bankers), on occasion, enables us to facilitate the provision of “pro bono” or philanthropic services to our client/ partner Social Finance ventures.

Prime Advocates runs several pro bono initiatives with our legal partners, Linklaters and Weil, Gotshal and Manges, through which we support innovative social enterprise startups with legal, business, strategy and financial  challenges. These include:

  • Social Finance HotDesk  is a social impact brokerage support programme which unlocks finance and expertise from “main street” institutions and advisory firms for the benefit of social enterprises. For the pilot, Prime Advocates is brokering legal support from Linklaters, a multinational law firm, for innovative social enterprise start-ups including AgriEvolve, a UK and Uganda-based ‘profit for purpose’ agricultural organisation working to improve the productivity and profitability of farmers in Uganda through investment and education.
  • Women of Impact is a mentorship programme and social enterprise accelerator promoting equality of opportunity for women in social enterprise. We are running the pilot of this programme with Weil, Gotshal, Manges, and Mamaby, UK and India-based social entreprise which helps pregnant women in Indian slums to deliver healthy and well-nourished babies. Alongside our role as project manager, Prime Advocates is providing mentor and mentee with social impact and business acceleration workshops and trainings.
